The animals on the farm
Here at Storegården you are welcome to take part in nursing our animals as much as
you want to, can and are able to manage.
We start at around 4 p.m. in the cow shed and during the six months of the summer,
we will begin with bringing home the cows from the day pasturage.
After that the milking and the feeding takes place. Try to milk "your own" cow.
Then we will give the calves milk and hay and when everything is done in the cow
shed the cows will be turned out on night pasturage.
Everything is set at about 6.30 p.m.
Of you are a morning person, you can join us in the morning in the cow shed. We start at 6 a.m.
We will inform you and tell you as much as you want us to about what happens here at the
farm with all the animals and different duties.
Nicke and Lina, the rabbits, welcome you to the rabbit cage, where they gladly accept
some dandelion leaves and a chat with thanks.
Pelle and Majsan, our cats, won't say no to a moment of cuddling either.
